Ignacio Calderin

My name is Ignacio “Iggy” Calderin. I am the Executive Director of VIP Reentry Services. I know first hand the impact of second chances. When I was young and dumb I made a lot of poor choices for which I regret immensely.

Most of you will be released with no support and no idea what you are going to do. Fortunately there are many resources available to assist “Returning Citizens” before and after their release. We know the culture shock is real. The importance to erase the criminal mindset and trust the process.

Today with a grateful heart, I visit the prisons to facilitate and teach a Reentry and Resource class to the men and women preparing to be released. I am PASSIONATE to give back to those who need direction and are seeking a second chance. This is my life’s calling and that’s how VIP Reentry Services came to life.

We serve individuals released from prison or jail in South Florida who are in need of reentry services. If you are tired of someone telling you when to wake up, when to eat and when to go to sleep.
VIP Reentry Services will empower you and give you the tools needed to become self sufficient in your community. We have been there and we care. You are VIP-a Very Important Person- to us.

Mitchoun Alusma

Hello my name is Mitchoun “Mitch” Alusma today I have the honor to serve as the Director of Operations for VIP Reentry Services.
I have only known a life of humble beginnings, grinding and climbing my way to higher levels.

I have always fixated myself to supplement lives daunting challenges with education, advice and open-mindedness. My passion is to assist individuals seeking a second chance. “You are the greatest project you will ever work on”.
